মনে হচ্ছে মাথায় রক্ত উঠে যাচ্ছে... এ বার একটু ঘুমোতে চাই— মৃত্যুর কয়েক মুহূর্ত আগে তাইহোকুর নানমোন মিলিটারি হাসপাতালে শুয়ে চিকিৎসককে এই কথাটাই বার বার বলছিলেন তিনি। তৈরিই ছিল ইঞ্জেকশন। মুহূর্তের মধ্যেই ঘুমিয়েও পড়েছিলেন।

I am great admirer as well as critic of Netaji Subhas Brinda Bose,I have good friends in his party Forward Bloc as well, including its General Secretary Debbrat Biswas Palash Biswas but I think this version put on by Netaji nephew Ashis Roy is quite objective and truthful about Netaji's death on 18th August 1945. Those who are playing politics with cooked up stories are no friends of either Netaji or his ideas!

Today is the 75th anniversary of the Great Escape ("Mahanishkraman") of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose from Calcutta. To commemorate the event, I was present in a special programme organized by Netaji Research Bureau.

A bust of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was unveiled near Netaji Bhawan.

On this occasion, more than 1000 young entrepreneurs were given cheques under "Gatidhara" scheme introduced by our government for self-employment with commercial vehicles in the transport sector.

Cycles under "Sabuj Sathi" scheme and laptop computers were also given to school students.

Netaji is the leader of the Nation. He is our inspiration, our constant driving force.
