NURSERY ADMISSION BLUES We should understand that issue here is of admission of a child and not of parents or ministers. It has to be child centric alone. Any two child for admission in a nursery class can not be discriminated on any ground as they form a single class which cannot legally be sub-divided. Distance + draw of lot is followed in all 400+ sarvodya vidyalayas run by Delhi Govt for admission in pre-primary class. The same is followed for admission of EWS students in unaided schools. I am unable to see why the same cannot be applied for admission of paying students in unaided schools. RTE Act is very clear on this and there is no confusion. The so-called confusion is being created deliberately by the schools having vested interests.
