India boasts by the Bagvath Geetha which many claim is of highest philosophical content than the Bible or other religious nonsense.
What is the Bagavath Geetha?  People who know next to nothing of the Bagavath Geetha nor even read a verse of it claim that it is Krishna's "sermon on the mount"
What indeed is the Bagvath Geetha?
The Bagavath Geeta (BG) starts with the blind Drtharashtr, the father of the 101 Kuravas asking Sanjay his crony to describe whatever is happening on the battlefied of Kurukshetra. The Bagavath Geetha is what Sanjay is said to have seen and narrated to Dritharahtr and can in no way be construed as Krishna's words or actions. What is more the narration especially that of the Viswaroop is directed more at a normal man than at a blind Drdarashtr.
One also wonders how in the ding and the dong of a waging war Sanajy could have have heard distinctly  every single word that Krishna said. The only conclusion from all this is that the Bagavath Geetha is Sanjay's script rather than Krishna's and as such it is Sanjay who should be credited with the Geetha and worshiped rather than you know who.
In Semitic religions and even in voodoo things are not so naive. Even a third rate shaman boasts that he is speaking on behalf of a god or goddess or that s/he had a revelation from God. But the mighty Hinduism did not have even that sophistry to credit it to a revelation. Instead there is a chariot driver Sanjay delivering the Geetha as his own.
This reminds me of Thomas Paine's famous words "A revelation is a revelation only to the one who has it; to all others it is hearsay" and as such we are fighting all the time over hearsays which we say are revelations; arent we?
