MASUM from its inception worked as an activist centric organization having zeal and passion for its cause; torture, as primary concern. The Organization has worked with dedicated activists having clarity about human rights for more than one and half decades. Organization is based in West Bengal, India, incepted in year 1997, just before the 50th Anniversary year of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. At present organization is receiving financial support from UN body like United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture. The assistance is meant for medical, psychological, legal and social rehabilitation of torture victims. Organization is also willing to address socio-economic issues of underprivileged sections of the society with a right based approach.
To facilitate the same we are urgently looking for a professional activist having command in English writing, making reports, proposal writing and budgeting, programme implementation, evaluation and periodical report making to the funding agencies with adequate knowledge of Bangla.
Any person having above mentioned acumen with societal commitment and ready to work from our Srirampur (Hooghly) office can apply directly with his/her resume to us. All other aspects are negotiable.
