Fwd: [bangla-vision] The Islamic Perspective on the Royal Wedding

To:

THE ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE ON THE ROYAL WEDDING

Press Release Dated 20th April 2011 Anjem Choudary

Further to the police statement yesterday that they have received an application for a demonstration outside Westminster Abbey but that they have decided not to allow a demonstration at such close proximity to the wedding, I would like to make the following points for those concerned:

The protest on the 29th April 2011 is intended to highlight the many atrocities which have been and are being committed against

Muslims in Afghanistan and now in Libya by the British regime, its army and the British royal family, who have supported such crimes verbally and even physically by their active involvement including by prince William. If the holding of protests is considered distasteful at a wedding we would like to remind you of the weddings which have in fact been bombed in Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan by the US/UK alliance. To protect the lives of innocent men, women and children and to force the withdrawal of invading, occupying and oppressive forces from Muslim countries outweighs any small inconvenience that people may suffer in their enjoyment of the Royal wedding.

The concept of allowing demonstrations and protests under the banner of freedom of expression and freedom to protest etc... are enshrined within the United Nations declaration of Human Rights and its various manifestations in signatory countries including Britain. However we see that these false concepts are used by their protagonists to allow demonstrations by extreme right wing groups (such as the EDL) outside Mosques where they can swear at Muslims and their religion and shout all kinds of obscenities within their so-called rights but when it comes to Muslims wanted to peacefully highlight the cold blooded murder of their brethren then freedom, human rights, liberalism and democracy apparently do not stretch this far. The actions of the UK regime and its police not only show the fallacy of the concepts of freedom and democracy but also the superiority of Islam and the Shari'ah which does not change according to peoples whims and desires.

The idea and concept of a monarchy is a complete anathema to Islam and Muslims who believe that the right to legislate belongs to God alone, who believe that Allah is sovereign and not a man or woman and who believe that all Human beings are created equal and slaves to their creator not to a family. We therefore urge the British public as well as the Muslims to reject the Royal Family and to embrace Islam as a way of life and as the future for Britain. In contrast to some elite members of a family wasting the public's money, under Islam every man, woman and child will be guaranteed free food, clothing and shelter. As opposed to some families and individuals owning the resources leading to the elderly having to make a choice between warmth and a roof over their head at winter, under Islam we will guarantee free water, electricity, petrol and gas for everyone's basic needs. As opposed to being exploited via industries such as alcohol, gambling, usury, fashion etc... Islam will ensure that the survival, procreation and reverence instincts are channelled properly by eradicating such ills from the society.

At the current time the British regime employ the argument that the presence of their forces in Muslim countries is a cause of stability in the area and a cause of security back home. Nothing could be further from the truth. The fact is that stability will never be achieved in Muslim countries by the presence of foreign forces who bomb them and who are involved in torture, murder and abuse as is abundantly evidenced in Guantanamo Bay, Abu Ghuraib and Bagram Air Base. The current attack against Libya is in reality a new form of colonialism where instead of physically occupying the land (as they did in the past) or usurping the resources from a distance via a puppet; the US, UK and French alliance is today bombing Muslims under the guise of helping them get rid of dictators and helping them to implement freedom and democracy. The reality is that these aggressive regimes are more concerned that Muslims might rise and implement the Shari'ah and thereby get rid of the nasty influence of the crusaders over them and their resources, than they are about the well being of Muslims.

There is no doubt whatsoever that such actions have resulted in instability in the Muslim world and insecurity back home, as in the UK. Hence events such as the Royal Wedding will always be prime targets for the likes of Al-Qaeda and their many followers, as we saw on 7/7 until all Muslim land is liberated and all such crimes cease against Muslims. Although I personally believe that Muslims in the UK have a covenant of security where in return for their lives and wealth being protected we are not allowed to target the lives and wealth of those with whom we live, this Islamic view is not shared by everyone!

Our message for Muslims in Britain is that remember who you are. As Muslims we must work collectively to implement the Shari'ah wherever we are. We are obliged to struggle to liberate our land and to defend the lives, wealth and honour of Muslims whenever it is being attacked. The Messenger Muhammad (saw) said that the Muslims are one body worldwide, that if one part feels pain then the rest must respond. Moreover there is no concept of Monarchy in Islam, rather it is war against the creator to associate with him in his decisions and ruling. We therefore urge Muslims to distance themselves from the Royal wedding and realise the evils associated with it, such as alcohol, free-mixing, wasting money, forgetting the crimes which have and are being committed in the name of the Queen and with her full support etc... Rather we invite Muslims to stand with us and to be counted among those who forbid the evils of man made law and who call for the sanctity of God not to be violated. Moreover the Messenger Muhammad (saw) forbade Muslims from participating in the weddings, funerals and ritual acts and gatherings of the non-Muslims.

ALL INDIA PARENTS ASSOCIATION (AIPA) AGARWAL BHAWAN, G.T. ROAD, TIS HAZARI, DELHI-110054 To, Hon'ble Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, New Delhi. 30.04.2011 Sub: Enact Central Law to Regulate Fees in Unaided Private Schools and Upgrade all Government Schools all over the country to the level of Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools) Respected Sir, The parents all over the country have been raising their voices for the past 15 years against inaction on the part of the Central and State Governments to check the menace of commercialization of education in unaided private schools. It is unfortunate that the governments have utterly failed to check arbitrary fee hike by the private schools despite directives by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Modern School case. Though the parents are now better aware of their rights qua unaided private schools but the schools are adamant to continue to exploit the hapless parents and students by subjecting them to pay unjustified, exorbitant and arbitrary fee and other charges. The State of Tamil Nadu has enacted Tamil Nadu Schools (Regulation of Collection of Fee) Act, 2009. It appears that the Tamil Nadu Act is addressing the parents' concerns to a large extent. However, the application of the said Act is limited to the State of Tamil Nadu. In other States, there are practically no laws to deal with the school fee hike problems. AIPA demands a comprehensive Central Law Regulating Fees in Unaided Private Schools which should include a provision of minimum 50% representation of parents on the School Management Committee. Needless to say that Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 provides 75% representation of parents in the School Management Committee in the Government and Government Aided Schools. Another aspect of the matter is that all children including the children with disabilities have a basic human and fundamental right to receive good quality education in the mainstream schools as guaranteed to them under Article 14 (right to equality), Article 21 (right to life with dignity), Article 21-A (right to education) and Article 38 (right to social justice) of the Constitution of India read with the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995, Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 and UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2008). It is estimated that about 10 crores children are still out of school and are engaged in one or the other form of labour though their rightful place is in school. Those children who are in the government school system are receiving very poor quality of education. Fee-charging private schools are flourishing at the cost of government schools. It is all happening due to the apathy of the governments towards the educational needs of the children of the masses of this country. It is unfortunate as well as unconstitutional that discriminatory system of schooling exists within the Pubic School Education System. How long the rulers of this country would continue to deny the basic right to education to our children? AIPA demands that all government schools all over the country must be upgraded to the level of Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools). In the aforesaid backdrop, the All India Parents Association (AIPA) is staging today a peaceful protest against arbitrary fee hike in private schools and apathy of governments towards state run schools at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi to draw your kind attention to the plight of the hapless parents and the students. Similar coordinated protests by the parents are also taking place today in many States & Districts all over India demanding (i) Enactment of a Central Law to Regulate Fees in Unaided Private Schools and (ii) Upgrade all Government Schools all over the country to the level of Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools). Respected Sir,

The parents all over the country have been raising their voices for the past 15 years against inaction on the part of the Central and State Governments to check the menace of commercialization of education in unaided private schools. It is unfortunate that the governments have utterly failed to check arbitrary fee hike by the private schools despite directives by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Modern School case.
